Volcanoes National park.
Volcanoes National Park is the top national park in Rwanda that is located in the northern Rwanda. The park lies in Kinigi sector in Musanze district. Volcanoes national park is famous for the mountain gorillas where Rwanda gorilla trekking in the entire country takes place. Volcanoes national park boasts five of the eight volcanoes that makes up the Virunga mountains range. The park borders with Virunga national park in Congo and then Mgahinga Gorilla national park in Uganda. Not only being the home of the mountain gorillas, Volcanoes national park as well boasts the large numbers of golden monkeys were also golden monkey trekking takes place in park. The park as well is known as the birding haven with over 200 bird species that are found in the park.
Akagera National Park.
Akagera national park is known as the largest national park on a Rwanda safari, where the park covers an areas equal to 1085km2 and the park is easily defined as the archetypal African savannah landscape. Akagera national park is situated in the north-eastern edge of Rwanda just it is 3 hours’ drive from Kigali city.

Nyungwe national park.

Nyungwe national park was established as a national park in 2005 by the Rwandan government. Nyungwe national park is the perfect destination with the serene environment that is ever green through the ice age. Nyungwe national park is a home of the primates that are over 12 species majorly the chimpanzees that attract various tourists to visit the park and among other primates. The park has other attractions like the bird species, various animal species, and plant species. Gishwati-Mukura national park.
Gishwati-Mukura national park is located in the western part of Rwanda majorly in four districts namely Nyabihu, Rutsiro, Ngororero and Rubavu. The park is the newly established park among all national parks in Rwanda. That was gazetted on 01st February 2016. Some of the part of this park is Gishwati forest that contributes an areas of 1,439.72 ha and Mukura forest contributes an area of 992.48 ha. Gishwati-Mukura national park is a thrilling destination with diverse flora and fauna, with large numbers of mammals, chimpanzees, primates and among many more which makes your safari the most recognized one with nature on a Rwanda safarin.
